sometimes in life there are people who stick by you through thick and thin and are always there to pick you up when you fall. theyre always there. constant. as constant as the northern star. but then the fact that theyre always there sometimes causes you to take them for granted. you arent there for them when they need you you dont appreciate whatever they do for you and ultimately you treat them like the all singing all dancing crap of the world. and when finally the person isnt around anymore thats when you realise that youve really lost something very valuable. its always like that. i learnt a painful lesson. i lost my northern star. in a way its a good thing cause it really makes you open your eyes but on the other hand the fact that the star that has been there for you all this while is nothing more than a void. that part of you where the star used to occupy will then be empty and as a result you dont feel whole anymore. nevertheless im not going to give up on my dying star. its gonna take some time. im just hoping my star will be able to be a part of me again. till then ill just wait and pray.
got this from a book i read just now which i find very true. "the curious thing about intense love is that it often resembles hatred more than it does friendship"
