just read emi's entry. the flight stewardess was hot. no doubt about that. looked abit like fiona xie. woohoo. about the make up shes gotta wear make up for her job. too much make up is a different story altogether. and i have to agree with emi about the eyes. yeah. sometimes when you look at some people you can just get lost in their eyes and be oblivious to whats happening around you. this doesnt only apply for people with nice eyes. sometimes it just happens with people who you click really well with. you know that spark. well its hard to explain. there are some times when you can just look into ones eyes and actually more or less tell the personality of the person. eyes do say quite a lot. some have that mysterious look. some have that brooding bad boy look. some have that really slack and laid back look. some have that fierce look. the list goes on. different people will be attracted to different kinds of eyes. the mysterious kinda eyes always catch my attention. haha. since we're on the topic of looks what the heck. you know many people nowadays say looks are not important its the inside that counts and stuff like that. in my opinion in this somewhat superficial and materialistic world that we live in this statement isnt that true except for some very rare cases. i mean for instance the very thing that sparks off an interest for a particular person will firstly be the looks. then personality and so on. how often do you see a horrendous looking person and actually be interested in him or her? if you were a normal human being chances are quite slim. yeah sure we could be friends but thats all. nothing more. its really really really very rare to find people who can actually look past the physical attributes. a lot of people who say that they can cant. the minimum requirement is for the person to be average looking. its quite sad that those who arent that gifted physically are in a way discriminated. another sign to show that the statement mentioned earlier isnt true is the fact that now more and more people are going for cosmetic surgery. just goes to show that image is becoming more important in our society today. those who can afford will well benefit and those who cant will basically be left out and eventually the gap between the two groups of people will widen.

i was talking with kurt and wei siang quite some time back. wei siang brought up the topic on how what people said about looks being unimportant is bullshit. for example if a really drop dead gorgeous guy gives a girl a bunch of roses the girl will find it really really sweet and chances of her falling for him are quite high but when the ugliest guy that ever graced gods green earth gives a girl a bunch of roses she'd probably go like eeee inside or something. yeah she'd thank him for the roses but chances of her falling for that monster are really really low. yea even when the monster is actually quite sincere and nice. thats more or less the situation that exists in many places today.

anyway enough of me rambling. its just my opinion anyway. haha. for those of you out there who really sincerely can see past the looks i really have to give it to you. but as for most of us normal people in this period of our youth looks actually do matter sad to say. and as for whos good looking and who isnt i guess it all comes down to a matter of perspective in the end. so heck i dunno. hahah.
